Gateway Park is located at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Martin Luther King BLvd and is a part of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.  It is one of the premier downtown parks for walks, weddings, and other special events.  There is an interactive water fountain for children as well as an overlook/bandstand that looks out over the Ocmulgee River.  Jazz on the Dock is a very popular program that has been anchored at Gateway Park.
