Located at the intersection of 5th Street and Cherry Street, Cherry Street Plaza is one of the main downtown plaza's that is used for concerts, festivals, Special Events, Street Parties, and other events of that nature.  The Plaza is frequently utilized throughout the year by NewTown Macon, DownTown Council, Macon Symphony, the City of Macon, the Sports Hall of Fame, Macon Cherry Blossom and numerous other organizations holding special events.
